Tips for best use

  • PATIENCE! Go slow and steady when painting your nails, and always allow enough time for nail polish to fully dry, especially between coats
  • Shake the polish bottle before use; it's normal for the pigment to start to separate with time, but all can be corrected with a good shake
  • Wash your hands and allow your nails to air dry before painting
  • We recommend 2-3 coats, but start with thin coats to build an even application and your desired opacity
  • Top Coats will improve the finish quality and extend durability - it's also possible to give a gloss polish a matte finish and vice versa
  • If you've made a mess with polish on the cuticle/skin surrounding your nail, allow it to fully dry and then peel them clean during a hot shower
  • Store your nail polish in cool, dark places; if exposed to excessive heat your polish will get lumpy, and excessive light/sunlight can change the pigment color

How soon will my order ship?

  • Orders are usually processed and shipped within 2-3 days of purchase; we will try our best to communicate any expected fulfillment delays through our site before purchase

What are my shipping options?

  • Nail polish cannot be shipped by air, so all of our shipping is currently done through USPS Ground Advantage, providing domestic shipping service to all 50 U.S. states
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order weight and destination, and delivery typically takes 2-5 days, depending on the destination
  • For those located in the greater Bozeman/Livingston area of Montana, we do also offer a direct local delivery option at checkout, free of charge

Can I cancel or change my order?

  • For any cancellation or change requests to your order, please contact us via our contact link at the bottom or our site, or email us at henry@mudtones.com
  • Requests must be received before we've processed and shipped your order

How can I make exchanges or returns?

  • Given the nature of our products we cannot accept returns or exchanges for new products, regardless of whether the original products have been used or opened
